The Enfield Board of Education is looking for Enfield Citizens to serve on its Demographic Advisory Committee (DAC). The charge of the DAC will be to investigate the configuration and utilization of school buildings to see if educational benefits or cost savings can be realized. Cost savings should not be realized by sacrificing the education of students. Enfield Board of Education members encourage past Demographic Advisory Study Committees members to apply. DAC membership will consist of:
(8) Enfield Citizens (2) Elementary Principals (1) Middle School Principal (1) High School Principal (1) Board of Education Member
It is anticipated that the meetings will start in November 2008. Meeting dates and duration will be determined after the initial meeting of the committee.
