Board of Education Goals
The Enfield Public Schools shall provide a comprehensive education that addresses the needs of the whole child by:
- Creating and implementing a cohesive district-wide long term plan with accompanying procedures for assessing the plan;
- Improving student performance in literacy and numeracy;
- Using technology to maximize the education process;
- Providing a systemic, ongoing process of professional development to provide skills and strategies for improving student learning;
- Requiring students to come to school regularly, be well behaved and prepared to learn;
- Enlisting the support of parents, community leaders and the community in accomplishing the mission and goals of the Enfield Board of Education.
