PBS Kids	This is a site that you may enjoy using with your children. Check out Between the Lions and other literature resources and activities.
Starfall	ABC animations, interactive stories and other activities.
Carol Hurst’s Children’s Literature Site	Although this site has recently added advertising, it is a good source for finding descriptions of books. Click on All Reviewed Children’s Books to go to grade level recommendations.
NEA Parent Guides	Several guides about reading are available for downloading.
Reading Rockets	Terrific site for articles and lists of suggested titles, including recommendations of books by topic and theme.
RIF Reading Planet	Activities and reviews of favorite books. A site for grown-ups and children published by the Reading is Fundamental organization.
Silly Books	Animated books, songs and stories.
Children’s Book Council	Clicking on Reading Lists from the home page will bring you to several annotated listings of children’s books.
American Library Association	Provides lists of recommended books by themes and awards.12
