Analysis of Powdery Substance Completed

ANALYSIS OF POWDERY SUBSTANCE COMPLETED:
The Public Health Department reports receiving a message from the FBI stating that all tests administered to the white powdery substance mailed to John F. Kennedy Middle School on Monday came back with "negative results". In other words, no dangerous substances were found in the powder.
We have been informed that for security reasons the FBI does not release the analysis sheets. However, we have requested a written confirmation that the substance was harmless. If received, we will post it on the District's web page.
